Partnering with St Andrew’s Hospice

Our primary charity for the year is St Andrew’s Hospice, based in Grimsby, which has provided compassionate, high-quality care to adults and children diagnosed with life-limiting illnesses for nearly 45 years. Serving the communities across North East Lincolnshire, the Humber, and North Yorkshire, St Andrew’s Hospice is dedicated to offering holistic support from the moment of diagnosis through illness, end-of-life care, and family bereavement. Their team operates both within the hospice and out in the community, providing critical palliative services and ensuring each patient’s needs are met with dignity and respect.

As the hospice relies on community generosity for approximately 80% of its funding, our partnership with St Andrew’s goes beyond financial contributions. Throughout the year, BlueSky will be hosting fundraising events and encouraging team members to get involved, raising both awareness and resources for this essential cause. We’re dedicated to helping St Andrew’s Hospice continue to provide their specialised care for local people and their families in need.

Supporting LIVES

In addition to our commitment to St Andrew’s Hospice, BlueSky also proudly supports LIVES with regular monthly donations. LIVES is a volunteer-driven organisation that provides life-saving, immediate care to individuals experiencing medical emergencies in our region. As North East Lincolnshire’s dedicated responder service, LIVES has a significant impact on the health and safety of our community.

Our monthly donation allows LIVES to plan and grow sustainably, enabling them to recruit and train more volunteer Community First Responders and invest in essential equipment. This ongoing support aligns with BlueSky’s core values. Through our “Commit and Deliver” approach, we’re proud to back an organisation that steps in during critical moments, embodying the spirit of “Humble and Positive” teamwork and a commitment to community improvement.
